Pulse Records has formed an artist development joint venture with ISO Supremacy, a record label founded by Brent Faiyaz.

Through the deal, Pulse and Brent Faiyaz have signed Tommy Richman to Pulse Records. Tommy is opening for Brent on his sold-out F*ck the World It’s A Wasteland Tour. Faiyaz signed a music publishing deal with Pulse Music Group in 2016 and has worked with an all-star line-up of songwriters, producers, and artists. He renewed the deal in 2022 with the debut of his full-length album WASTELAND.

“My partnership with Pulse Music Group since Day 1 has been transformative,” adds Faiyaz about the deal. “In launching my new label ISO Supremacy and partnering with Pulse Records, we’ve created this platform to give artists like Tommy Richman a creative home with the ability to scale global impact and a team that is accessible who keeps creativity at the forefront. We’re going to continue to make history.”

22-year-old Virginia native Tommy Richman is an up-and-coming artist who genre-blends alternative, indie pop, alt hip-hop, and alt-rap with house influences. He released his seven-song album Alligator in October 2022 and a new single, “30 Till Midnight” on June 15.

“I’m grateful and amazed at the support from Brent, ISO Supremacy, and the team at Pulse Records, which motivates me,” Richman adds. “To have the opportunity to open for Brent on his sold-out tour is an absolute honor, and to sign to Pulse Records, a creative community that really understands music and supports artists, I couldn’t ask for more.”

Pulse Music Group and Concord launched Pulse Records in June 2023. The label is the latest vertical for Pulse Music Group, which boasts a music publishing and artist management arm. Pulse Records will capitalize on PMG’s ability to invest in the highest levels of creative talent, supported by Concord’s existing label services platform and administrative teams.

Pulse Music Group principals Scott Cutler and Josh Abraham, along with Ashley Calhoun, President/Head of Creative lead Pulse Records. The new label Pulse Records is a part of Concord Label Group and is distributed through the company’s longtime relationship with Universal Music Group.

“Offering Brent a JV to sign and develop new artists alongside Pulse Records is the natural next step for everyone,” adds the Pulse Records leadership team. “It’s an honor to be on this journey with Brent and to amplify Tommy’s artistry through a small and capable team we have customized specifically for Tommy’s success.”
