Flavor Flav defends Megan Thee Stallion after an AI-generated sex tape of her began circulating online — ‘Y’all leave this queen alone.’

Public Enemy legend Flavor Flav took to X, the former Twitter, to defend Megan Thee Stallion after an AI-doctored porn video of the “Cognac Queen” artist made the rounds on social media.

“Y’all leave this queen alone,” he wrote. “Entertainers are here to entertain and bring y’all happiness. We ain’t doing it at the cost of our own. This is why we can’t have nice things.”

The 65-year-old MC’s post came just a day after Megan made her own post blasting those responsible and threatening legal action against those promoting the fake video’s authenticity.

“It’s really sick how y’all go out of the way to hurt me when you see me winning,” she wrote. “Y’all going too far, fake ass s—t. Just know today was your last day playing with me and I mean it.”

Fans attending her Hot Girl Summer show in Tampa, Florida, later that night saw the artist break down crying during her performance of “Cobra.” Despite her tears and even stopping to hold her head in her hand momentarily, Megan managed to pull it together and finish the set. “I’ma give you this performance without tearing up,” she said on stage, letting the song play for a moment before she joined back in with her vocals.

“Cobra” was released shortly after the conclusion of the trial of Tory Lanez, a fellow rapper who shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot back in 2020. The song deals with topics such as betrayal, depression, and suicide.

But for Flavor Flav’s part, this is only the most recent time he’s come to the defense of a pop icon facing turbulence. He took to the former Twitter to defend Taylor Swift after the release of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, proclaiming himself the “King Swiftie.”

Notably, Swift has also been the victim of AI-generated deepfakes, which Flav didn’t specifically comment on; he just wanted to “punch anyone that hurt that woman’s feelings. But no one can punch them worse than Taylor and her piano and pen.”
