Kanye West, his wife Bianca Censori, and their entourage were reportedly escorted out of the 2025 Grammys following a stunt on the red carpet.
Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, showed up at the 2025 Grammy Awards red carpet, along with his wife, Bianca Censori, and an entourage of around five people. The group was reportedly escorted off the premises after showing up uninvited and causing a stir, but some sources say they left of their own volition.
West was one of this year’s nominees, up for Best Rap Song with “Carnival” alongside Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, and Playboi Carti — though they were beat out by Kendrick Lamar’s smash hit, “Not Like Us.” But despite his nomination, Ye was not invited to this year’s Grammy Awards, and showed up at the red carpet anyway. However, other sources say Ye was invited, since he had secured a nomination.
The 47-year-old Chicago native made his red carpet debut early that evening along with his 30-year-old wife. He wore an all-black ensemble, while she wore an oversized black fur coat before discarding it to show off a sheer mini-dress with nothing underneath and a pair of clear heels. The pair posed for photos, including an attempt to replicate the album cover of West’s Vultures 1 album.
The couple were then seen leaving the Crypto.com Arena and getting into a silver car. One source tells Page Six the couple left on their own, rather than being escorted out. “He walked the red carpet and then got in his car and left,” they say.
Ye’s appearance at the red carpet marks his first time at the awards show (in some capacity) in a decade. He last attended back in 2015, but has not returned since. Ahead of the Grammys show, he also unfollowed everyone except for Taylor Swift on his personal Instagram account.
According to Ye, the dress Censori wore — which appeared to be made out of sheer stockings — was a “custom couture” number “for the most beautiful woman ever, my love, my best friend, my wife.” Notably, the couple were on rocky ground last year, and were reportedly headed for divorce in October.
