Coachella creator Goldenvoice partners with the San Francisco Giants to transform Shed A at Pier 48 into a seasonal club destination, Club Darc.
Goldenvoice, the creators of Portola and the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, has announced Club Darc, a first-of-its-kind seasonal club experience in San Francisco. Taking place on select weekends from Friday, February 27, through Saturday, May 16, at Shed A at Pier 48, Club Darc will bring the warehouse in the Mission Rock neighborhood to life with a run of electronic music events.
Each Club Darc event will feature a curated mix of headliners alongside emerging DJs, producers, and standout local artists. The current roster includes dance and electronic acts such as Chris Stussy, Mau P, Peggy Gou, Michael Bibi, DJ Tennis b2b DJ Seinfeld, The Martinez Brothers, Armand Van Helden, Neil Frances, Ben Sterling, Silva Bumpa, Miguelle & Tons, and more.
Goldenvoice has partnered with Giants Enterprises, the entrepreneurial arm of the San Francisco Giants, to transform the space into a premier music destination. Leveraging their combined expertise in producing world-class events in sports and culture, they aim to deliver an unforgettable experience.
February 27 sees sets from Chris Stuss, DJ Tennis b2b DJ Seinfeld, and Skiis. On March 7, Peggy Gou Presents Gou Talk, along with performances from Armand Van Helden, Silva Bumpa, and Vertigo; this is notably a 21+ event, whereas the other nights do not specify an age restriction.
Then, on March 13, Club Darc will see performers Mau P, Ben Sterling, Miguelle & Tons, and Clearcast, while March 14 brings Michael Bibi, The Martinez Brothers, a set from Neil Frances, and performances from Luch and Brown Angel.
The presale for these shows begins on Tuesday, January 27, at 10 AM PST. Once you register, you will be sent a presale code and link to buy tickets before they go on sale. More events and artists at Club Darc will be announced in the near future.
“We’re very excited to bring yet another new dance music experience to the Bay Area with Club Darc,” said Danny Bell, Club Darc Founder and SVP Talent Buyer at Goldenvoice. “Shed A at Pier 48 is the perfect venue to bring this vision to life—we’re going to transform the warehouse into our ideal club environment. Working alongside our partners at the SF Giants, our goal is to further the mission of making San Francisco a global hub for electronic music. We have a great lineup for our first season, and it’s going to be a blast!”
Building on the success of Portola, a two-day festival held at Pier 80 in a similar industrial warehouse setting along San Francisco’s bay shores, Club Darc aims to further establish the city as a leading international music destination and cultural hub for dance and electronic music.
“We’re incredibly proud to see Pier 48’s Shed A evolve into a true music destination on San Francisco’s waterfront,” said Sara Grauf, Senior Vice President of the San Francisco Giants. “Club Darc marks an exciting opportunity to activate the historic Pier 48 with vibrant and diverse new programming.”
