Amazon Music launches a ‘Share to TikTok’ button, creating a two-way sharing bridge between the two platforms.
Last November, TikTok launched its “Share to TikTok” integration with Spotify and Apple Music, allowing people using those services to easily share music tracks to TikTok. Now, a year later, Amazon Music is getting in on the action.
Amazon Music’s “Share to TikTok” button is available now across iOS and Android, and is also built into the “Insights” feature launched in August. Listeners can share songs, albums, playlists, and other highlights in “Insights” can easily be posted to TikTok. Personalized analytics that showcase a user’s listening habits and music statistics can even be shared, such as total listening minutes and monthly recaps.
Both platforms share a common goal of driving music discovery and giving listeners more ways to explore, enjoy, and share the music they love across apps. The integration builds on the two services’ existing relationship; Amazon Music was an early partner for TikTok’s “Add to Music App” feature.
TikTok points out that since its launch, “Add to Music App” has generated billions of track saves and many more streams, helping artists find new audiences and “turning music discovery on TikTok into listening moments everywhere.”
Fans can even share exclusive Amazon Music Original tracks to TikTok—which both companies undoubtedly hope will lead to users planting the seed for viral moments and music unleashing across TikTok. That includes recently released Originals from new Amazon Music breakthrough artist, Carter Faith, who reimagined Addison Rae’s “Fame is a Gun,” and Shaboozey’s “Let ‘Em Know (Amazon Music Original).”
“Music is the heartbeat of TikTok—it’s how people connect, express themselves, and discover something new every day,” said Li Chen, Head of Product, Music Vertical, TikTok. “Partnering with Amazon Music to make sharing seamless means fans can bring their favorite music and personal listening moments to life on TikTok, inspiring even more creativity and music discovery across our community.”
The feature started rolling out over the weekend for Amazon Music users worldwide on iOS and Android.
