BitTorrent released a test version of its Bundles product, a platform that allows creators to release free content that downloaders can access by completing an action, such as sharing the content, submitting personal information, or taking a survey.
It is currently available to publishers in “closed alpha” mode to test the waters and eventually pave the way for later versions that will include the ability to charge downloaders for premium content.
This DIY platform has previously found success through a string of big artists, such as Kaskade, Public Enemy, and Linkin Park.
