      I think you are wrong. Rolling Stone the magazine is doing fine. They have a good mixture of music, politics, the environment, television, and movies. My recollection is that their circulation is holding up well compared to other magazines.

    Rolling Stone’s always been “edgy” this way. Remember the cover for Janet Jackson? What’s off-putting about the magazine is that a leftist standpoint skews not only their politic pieces, which trend to the left of Barack Obama, but also their music and other pop culture reviews. It’s difficult to enjoy for someone who doesn’t share the same assumptions progressives do.
