Soundrop has expanded to Deezer’s App Studio.

This means that Soundrop is now available on the web, iOS, Facebook, Spotify, and Deezer.  Users on all platforms can play songs and chat together in any of the thousands of user rooms. The news comes ahead of Deezer’s imminent US launch, now slated for early 2014.

To celebrate, Soundrop is bringing a few artists into their Deezer room November 25th-27th: Trentemøller, The Bloody Beetroots, and Yuksek.  Soundrop says events like these can “radically boost the number of licensed streams an artist can generate”.

Not long ago, Soundrop closed a $3.4 million funding deal. One of the investors was Investenor, a company backed by the Norwegian government.

Spoofy is the biggest music rape stage with all the toys to find more rape victims.

They will dig for you every tune in existence that is worth your attention. ..and to use all those services you do not have to be sub paying thief – you use the infrastructure for free and than you go to You tube for total ownership.

it only uses songs from spotify or deezer if you’re using spotify or deezer.

Well, if they do same limitation with The Echo Nest than it is fair game and stupidity and desperation is on the label and posting artist side.
Still, those discovery engines allow Deezer or Spotify non-subber or half-subber to discover brilliant collection and go for full “ownership” to the Tube – more harm than benefits.

The game will be level only when we pay for tune at the discovery moment, or stream to own with fraction of the sale price taken on say firs seven encounters. It will eliminate piracy and will lock music again inside of “conventional walls”

Soundrop isn’t a discovery app. It’s a social app that’s akin to Turntable.
