It’s been a while since we’ve heard from SFX Entertainment and their quest to buy up all of EDM. Now, the massive dance music-oriented entertainment corporation has acquired three more companies.
SFX Entertainment has now acquired TMWRK Management, The Meta Agency, and Learned Evolution.
These companies will be used to “enhance and expand the activities of FX-1, SFX’s in-house marketing solutions platform“. It’s slightly unfortunate that SFX is pulling these three companies into their cash cow, as each of them turns out creative and forward-thinking work… But I guess I could say that about most companies SFX has acquired.
TMWRK Management represents a range electronic oriented artists, including Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, Lunice, Skream, A-Trak, Chrome Sparks, Diplo, Katy B, Tourist, Benga, Duck Sauce, LIZ, and Major Lazer.
The Meta Agency creates interactive installations, projection design, AV production, and more. The agency has worked with a diverse range of artists, including Drake, Bassnectar, and the Black Keys. Their clients include Twitter, H&M, Apple, and Nike.
Learned Evolution is a digital branding and marketing agency that works on social media, design, and events. Their clients include Vimeo, Nikon, Rdio, and Instagram.
