Looks like President-Elect Donald Trump found just the man to attend his daily intelligence briefings. Luckily, Kanye West has already undergone a thorough mental health examination.
Kanye West’s outspoken support of President-Elect is now paying off. After requesting a meeting with his newfound hero, Kanye West chatted about ‘life’ with Donald Trump in a meeting this morning. The two posed in the lobby of the heavily-fortified Trump Tower with broad grins, signaling a mutual admiration society for years to come.
“We’ve been friends for a long time,” Trump told reporters. When asked what they discussed, Trump merely answered: “Life. We chatted about life.”
When pressed further by reporters, an irritated Trump snapped: “Мы большие друзья!”
Donald Trump cares about Black people.
The meeting represents a sharp reversal from West’s controversial stance towards the previous Republican president. In the emotional moments of Hurricane Katrina, West famously declared, “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people.” Whether Trump’s policies towards African-Americans is any different is debatable, and largely unknown at this stage. Either way, West’s political priorities may have changed substantially since the George W. presidency.
About that ‘Life of Pablo’ Tour…
The surprise meeting follows a rough period for Kanye West. The rapper recently suffered a massive mental breakdown, and was committed to the psych ward at UCLA hospital for nearly two weeks. That followed a string of pro-Trump rants during his Life of Pablo Tour, itself abruptly cancelled.
And, for extra effect, fans hoping to see Kanye West in Los Angeles received a double whammy. First, the date was postponed following the alleged robbery of Kim Kardashian in Paris. Then, the event was outright cancelled.

Kanye’s first pro-Trump rant occurred in San Jose, CA, lasting 40 minutes. In nearby Sacramento, Kanye West rambled endlessly after playing just three tracks. He then called the show off, drawing roars of ‘F–k Kanye’ from the crowd. A subsequent stay at UCLA Medical Center sparked theories that West was merely falsifying the medical condition to claim $30 million in tour cancellation insurance.

The meeting with Donald Trump comes against the advise of West’s managers, including co-manager Scooter Braun. The question now is whether Kanye gains from the political publicity stunt. Or, if he has now alienated a large portion of his audience.
So far, it looks like 46% of Kanye fans agree with the move.
