Apple Music has rolled out their music streaming platform in 114 countries.  You’ll only find Spotify in 60 countries.  Why the huge difference?

With the 2017 holiday season well underway, music fans may have an important choice to make.  With the top two global streaming platforms competing for subscribers worldwide, who has the best service?

Better yet, which platform has a stronger global presence?

Last year, Apple Music subscribers could stream their favorite music in 59 countries where Spotify hadn’t launched their service.  Today, Digital Music News has compared their global availability.

Users can now subscribe to Apple Music in 114 countries.  Spotify has launched their service in only 60.  Updating MBW’s list, you’ll find 59 countries where Apple Music has launched their platform and Spotify hasn’t.  This includes the UAE, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Bulgaria, and other countries.  Spotify, on the other hand, has launched their music streaming platform in only five countries where Apple Music hasn’t.  These still include Angorra, Iceland, and Liechenstein, among two others.
