TIDAL has as promoted two of its executives. The streaming music service has appointed Tony Gervino executive vice president, editor-in-chief and have named Elliot Wilson their chief content officer.

Roc Nation announced that Brett Yormark will become both the co-CEO of Roc Nation Unified (along with his brother Michael Yorkmark) and the president of business operations and strategy. Yorkmark was previously CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment.

Spectra, which is a hospitality and management company, has named Jim McDonald general manager of the Atlantic City Convention Center and the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. He will be responsible for both oversight and supervision of the two venues.

The Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency Ltd., or CMRRA, which is now a subsidiary of SoundExchange, has named Paul Shaver its president. He was previously vice president of Nielsen Entertainment Canada.

Producer Mark Bright, along with manager Cole Johnstone and record company executive April Ride, have formed Foundry Records, in association with ADA Worldwide. The latest music industry entrant will be based in Nashville.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has named Spring Aspers, who had previously been head of music, as its president of music.

The Prince Estate, which manages the late artist’s Paisley Park production complex, has named Alan Seiffert as the executive director of Paisley Park. Seiffert previously was the president of Midnight Blue Management in New York.

Viacom International Media Networks announced the hiring of Maria Kyriacou as its president of the United Kingdom, Northern and Eastern Europe. She will have oversight of the company’s operations in more than 30 European countries.

Republic Records announced that they have promoted Beau Benton to senior vice president, media. He will be responsible for leading media campaigns for artists such as Florence + The Machine, Kid Cudi and Post Malone.

Loeb & Loeb’s Music Row office announced the hiring of Derek Crownover, who is a sports and media attorney. Crownover is further bringing to the company five members of his team.

The Valory Music Co., which is a subsidiary of the Big Machine Label Group, has promoted Ashley Sidoti to its vice president of promotion & digital. She previously was its senior national director, promotion & marketing.

BMG has promoted Sylvan Gazaignes to general manager of its French subsidiary.

Nuclear Blast announced two major hirings. Jens Prueter has become A&R for Europe while Antje Lange has become its chief operating officer.

BPI named three people to its BPI Council as independent label representatives: Alice Dyson-Jones, MD of ONE MEDIA iP Ltd; Nick Hartley, COO & CFO at [PIAS] Group; and Pat Carr, Founder of Remote Control Agency.  The first two were reelected to the council while Carr was elected for the first time.  They join Selina Webb, Executive VP at Universal Music UK; and Jo Bartlett, VP Corporate Communications at Warner Music Group, both of whom are major label representatives.
