A new leak appears to show SiriusXM’s streaming service will soon be available on new Tesla models including the Model 3, Model Y, and the CyberTruck.

Only the Model S and the Model X have offered SiriusXM’s satellite radio capabilities to owners through built-in hardware. Tesla has shown no interest in adding this hardware to its other electric vehicle models, but SiriusXM’s streaming service appears to be getting the go-ahead in an over-the-air (OTA) update.

Eagle-eyed users on reddit first spotted the advertisement for listening to SiriusXM’s streaming service on the Canadian SiriusXM website. That now-deleted website details how to start a free 30-day trial of the streaming system from inside a Tesla vehicle. The page has since been removed since the news went viral, but part of the instructions included downloading the most up-to-date software for the vehicle.

Some of the copy on the trial page suggests a SiriusXM streaming subscription through Tesla will cost around $22.80 CAN ($16.92 USD) after the free trial ends. There are also at least three plans available ranging from $16.92 USD to $29.12 USD.

SiriusXM’s streaming option provides ad-free music listening across a wide variety of channels, artist-curated channels, original talk shows, podcasts, comedy, and news. Sports fan can find live coverage of their favorite games and prominent sports talk shows.

It’s unclear when the SiriusXM streaming app will be made available to Tesla vehicles that don’t already have the capability via satellite. But the feature is likely to be coming sooner rather than later as rival electric vehicle manufacturers like Rivian and Lucid have also added support for the SiriusXM streaming service.

SiriusXM is hoping its continued partnership with vehicle manufacturers will keep it at the forefront of the audio consumption conversation. The company recently poached Spotify’s #2 most-subscribed podcast, ‘Call Her Daddy’ as the service moves to build out a talent portfolio beyond just offering Howard Stern.
