Just nine months after signing with talent agency 33 & West, the group has dropped Kanye West. Daniel McCartney confirmed the news stating he dropped Ye due to harmful and hateful remarks.
A visit to the 33 & West website confirms that ‘Ye’ does not feature among their represented talent anymore. McCartney’s Instagram post states the removal is “effective immediately due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for.”
The removal comes after another antisemitic tirade dropped by Kanye on X/Twitter on February 7. Then on Sunday night, Kanye West bought a Super Bowl ad in several markets advertising his merch website Yeezy.com. Visiting the website on Sunday night showcased several piece of merch with a new addition—a white t-shirt emblazoned with a black swastika.
Ahead of yet another antisemitic tirade on social media, he showed up to the red carpet at the Grammys with his wife, Bianca Censori. When she removed her fur coat, she was mostly nude with the exception of a sheer, see-through and body-colored slip covering her body. West’s appearance at the Grammys on February 2 appeared to be a statement he wanted to follow up with even more attention-grabbing antisemitic comments aimed at Jewish people.
Some of the comments made during his tirade include that he loves when Jewish people come to him and say they can’t work with him anymore. He also added that he would “never apologize for my Jewish comments.” West described himself as a Nazi and professed to love Hitler, calling him “so fresh.” In 2022, Adidas terminated its $1 billion+ partnership with the rapper after saying he would go “def con 3 on Jewish people” among other antisemitic remarks. Kanye’s net worth tanked from $2 billion to $400 million overnight after losing the deal.
And now in 2025 he’s facing more legal repercussions for his remarks. A former marketing staffer for Kanye West has sued the rapper in Los Angeles Superior Court this week. The lawsuit alleges the rapper fired her after calling her ugly and texting the phrase “Hail Hitler” to her.
The lawsuit also alleges Kanye West frequently targeted Jewish employees and staffers (including her) with hateful and antisemitic comments. It contains copies of text messages she received including the statement, “I am a Nazi” and “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.”
