Recently rebranded The Team announces the promotion of Kevin Shivers to co-president of the agency’s music group ahead of an anticipated sale.
Today, The Team formerly known as Wasserman announced the promotion of Kevin Shivers to co-president of the agency’s music group. He will work closely with Lee Anderson, the agency’s former president and current co-president, in overseeing the group’s global strategy and operations across its live music business.
Shivers’ promotion comes only 15 months after he surprised the industry by leaving WME to join The Team. Since joining, Shivers has “helped drive significant expansion across global markets, while fostering a culture rooted in collaboration, mentorship, and long-term artist development.”
A respected agent and leader, Shivers represents a diverse roster of talent that includes Tyler, The Creator, Kid Cudi, Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, Leon Thomas, Kali Uchis, Vince Staples, Jazmine Sullivan, Crooked Media (“Pod Save America”), and more.

In his new role, Shivers will continue to work closely with agents and leadership across The Team’s global offices, helping to further integrate the company’s booking, brand partnerships, tour marketing, and artist services. He will also mentor young agents and executives within the agency.
