At Canadian Music Week? Let’s connect.
As promised, Digital Music News is covering Canadian Music Week again this year. And once again, we’re seeing a pretty serious industry crowd.
We’ve written about this conference before, and pegged it as a serious meeting place ahead. Case in point: 2017, which has drawn the likes of Universal Music Group, CD Baby (a DMN partner), Ticketfly, Sony Music Entertainment, Nielsen, Rogers Center, and Live Nation (which of course includes Ticketmaster). Yet another place where the rebounding business is re-sprouting.
If you’re here, give us a shout at [email protected] or drop your details below (for extra networking).
Already we’ve connected with Ditto Music (a DMN partner); MusicMelter (Toronto-based artist-focused startup, check them out at musicmelter.com); iHeartRadio, University of Toronto (music program, of course); Neweb Labs; and MROC (Musicians Rights Organization Canada). And that was just in the first two hours.
Tonight we’ll be saying hi to Reservoir CEO Golnar Khosrowshahi, who’s hosting a special dinner (thanks for the invite). Then, we’ll be checking out discussions with industry heavyweights like Scott Borchetta (Big Machine) and Michael Rapino (Live Nation).
Plus, moderating a string of panels at that Global Creators Summit on Friday. And that’s just on the conference side.
Talk soon!
