Fitzgerald Hartley is closing its doors after 42 years in the music management business.

Both locations in Nashville and Ventura, CA are affected and will close by the end of the year.

Co-founders Larry Fitzgerald and Mark Hartley made the announcement today (Monday).  Fitzgerald says he will now focus solely on client Vince Gill, while Hartley will continue to manage artists separately.

Artists represented by the firm include Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Eric Paslay, Tracy Lawrence, and others.

Clients and managers responsible for Fitzgerald Hartley’s artist roster will announce their plans in the coming weeks. In a statement released by Fitzgerald, the co-founder praised the work his team has done.

“Mark and I forged a collaboration that has been successful, both personally and professionally, beyond our wildest dreams. Now I want to concentrate my efforts toward Vince. Though his accomplishments thus far have been enormous, I believe our partnership has been a cornerstone of my career, and I know we have many mountains yet to climb.”

Brad Paisley is likely to be managed by Bill Simmons after the firm’s shutdown.

Simmons is moving to a new management company being launched by Rob Beckham.  Just recently, Beckham left Warner Music Nashville to pursue creating his own management firm.

Hartley adds, “It has been a great ride and does not seem like a 42-year run. We have been blessed to be able to collaborate with such amazingly talented artists and partners.”

Past clients of Fitzgerald Hartley include Glenn Frey, Paul McCartney, Toto, Rufus & Chaka Khan, Patty Loveless, Restless Heart, among many others.

This is Chris palmer I’m reaching out to your firm to get me in contact with Kellie Pickler. I am a home town friend of hers and need her help with something. My daughter’s 8u softball team just won the NC State tournament and are headed to the world series next Friday in alabama. I’m wondering if kellie would wish these hometown girls good luck on a video or make some type of donation for their gift baskets that they have to exchange with team Mississippi during the first game next saturday. Thank you my cell is 704 961 6158
