Longtime singer and actress Barbra Streisand has made Gianna Floyd, the six-year-old daughter of the late George Floyd, a Disney shareholder.

Gianna Floyd thanked Barbra Streisand for the Disney shares — and several other items included in the Disney-branded box. That included a letter and a DVD edition of Streisand’s first CBS television special, My Name Is Barbra, which were documented in a series of Instagram photos.

Gianna captioned her post: “Thank You @barbrastreisand for my package, I am now a Disney stockholder thanks to you,” followed by a trio of emojis. Approximately 30,000 Instagram users have liked the message thus far, and a substantial number of individuals have left comments voicing their support for the contribution.

The box also contained what appeared to be a ribbon (the low-resolution photos didn’t clearly show each component of the package). Color Me Barbra was named after the artist’s seventh studio album and originally aired in 1966. The precise value of the Disney investment wasn’t disclosed, but the animation giant’s shares are currently trading for approximately $115 apiece.

At the time of this writing, Barbara Streisand hadn’t publicly responded to Gianna Floyd’s Instagram message. However, the 78-year-old New Yorker has been active on social media as of late, with many of her recent posts relating to the Joe Biden virtual fundraiser she co-hosted with John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, Jay Leno, and others.

Hosting duties brought with them a whopping $100,000 donation minimum, while guests could attend the remote rally for as little as $1,000.

Earlier this month, Digital Music News was first to report that Kanye West had donated $2 million to the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd. Plus, the Chicago rapper committed to paying for Gianna Floyd’s eventual college tuition.

The official George Floyd Memorial Fund has earned over $14.2 million to date — the most of any campaign in GoFundMe history.

You’re a sad, little person whose comments are consistently revealing about your weak character. You’re not worth anyone’s time. Enjoy chatting with your other online names. Bye, loser.
