Charlotte rapper DaBaby went on a homophobic rant during his Rolling Loud appearance.
The rapper went on the homophobic rant during the Rolling Loud Festival at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, then put your cellphone lighter up,” the rapper screamed at the crowd.
“Ladies, if your p**sy smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.” DaBaby added that he was ‘keepin’ it real’ after murmurs went through the crowd.
Social media soon lit up with criticism of the comments, so rapper T.I. chimed in. “If Lil Nas X can kick his s**t in peace, so should DaBaby,” the rapper said. “How he feels its necessary to jump in drama that has nothing to do with him all while going through the things he’s going through at his big age is very weird,” commented one person on T.I.’s defense of DaBaby.
DaBaby also drew criticism for bringing out the rapper accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
A rapper in a jumbo costume came out during DaBaby’s set. Soon, Tory Lanez emerged from the costume. “I’ll give somebody out here a million dollars if they can guess who in here,” DaBaby chanted to the packed crowd before Lanez was revealed. “I got a million dollars right now if you can guess who – who you think?”
After Lanez emerged from the costume, both he and DaBaby performed the track, “SKAT.” Fans weren’t happy about the rapper bringing on Tory Lanez, who is accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in July 2020. Details about the shooting were scarce at the time, but emerged over time.
The incident occurred after Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez left a party at Kylie Jenner’s home. Police responded to reports of gunfire outside a residence. They pulled over a vehicle in which the two were traveling. All three were forced by police to lay spread-eagle on the ground. Megan accused Lanez of shooting her in the foot, but Lanez denied the account.
DaBaby brought on Tory Lanez immediately after finishing his verse on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Cry Baby” with her, just moments before he took the stage for his own set.
Game over. Buy, buy loser.
Da Baby, they are about to “Kevin Hart” you by making you say things we know you really don’t believe, like apologizing to geoups of people who experience hate crimes just like African-Americans experience hate crimes. I bet George Floyd just rolled over in his grave and said, “Damn, damn, damn! When will you homophobic rappers wake up and understand that “hate” is “hate” no matter who you are or what type of lifestyle you live.” Money still can’t buy good judgement in a business matter, or the ridding of it. He’ll still be around though beacuse the unfortunate truth is … many people feel actually feel that way, and the fact that he is aligning himself with that group of people is not surprising in this day and age when so many people like him feel weakned to the point where the have to lash out at others in order to feel better about themselves.
