Dan + Shay have announced two canceled dates due to a positive COVID-19 test.

The pop-country duo shared the news with fans via social media. “A member of our immediate touring party has tested positive for COVID-19, and to protect the safety of our fans and everyone around us, we will sadly have to cancel the upcoming dates in Orlando and Atlanta,” the post reads.

Those Dan + Shay dates were scheduled for November 4 and 5 in Orlando and Atlanta.

The shows are officially canceled and not rescheduled; the duo was unable to do so. Fans who have tickets for the two canceled dates can obtain refunds for those tickets from their point of purchase.

“We know a lot of y’all have traveled or plan to travel for these shows, and it breaks our hearts to let you down,” the announcement from the group continues. To help offset the disappointing news, Dan + Shay shared they will be touring with Kenny Chesney next year.

“We will be making stops near Orlando or Atlanta. We’ve always dreamed of being a part of this tour, so these shows will be extra special, and we hope to see so many of ya’ll there,” Dan + Shay’s message concludes.

The Kenny Chesney tour featuring Dan + Shay was announced earlier this week. The Here and Now 2022 Tour will also feature Old Dominion and Carly Pearce alongside the country duo. Run dates for that tour will start in late April and extend through August, with several stops all over the United States.

Dan + Shay also shared a Christmas teaser with fans who loved their music from 2020.

The duo put out two original holiday songs called “Christmas Isn’t Christmas” and “Take Me Home for Christmas.” At the time, they hinted they’d love to do a full album of Christmas music – but it wasn’t in the cards for 2020.
