Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator
The White House has nominated former Paramount anti-piracy exec (and former RIAA regional counsel) Deborah Robinson as intellectual property enforcement coordinator. In a statement, RIAA head Mitch Glazier thanked “President Biden for selecting such an outstanding nominee to advance smart, pro-growth IP policies and enforcement practices around the world.”
Belmont University
Belmont has named CeCe Winans as an “artist in residence” for the fall of 2023, and besides “engaging with members of the Belmont community at campus events” as part of the arrangement, the gospel mainstay is scheduled to perform at the university’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts on September 15th.
