So, what do you do after earning both a No. 1 on Billboard charts and a iHeartRadio award? Do people still go to Disneyland?

People have really enjoyed Bruno Mars’ ‘That’s What I Like.’ So much that track streaming pushed Mars into his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B songs chart.

Following a strong performance at the 59th Grammy Awards, streaming of the track grew, oddly enough, 59 percent. ‘That’s What I Like’ received 12.4 million plays in the US in the tracking week ending Feb. 16. The Bruno Mars track also received strong radio play, as it went up 22% to 43 million. Billboard noted that the singer’s hometown KDDB Honolulu, Hawaii lead nationwide stations with 125 plays.

The singer also topped the Billboard Artist 100 chart, up from No. 4 for the week of March 4. On the R&B singles chart, ‘24K Magic’ had taken No. 2, the singer’s highest R&B back then in December.

Alongside solid streaming news, the iHeartRadio Music Awards will present the singer with the iHeartRadio Innovator Award. TNT, TBS, and truTV will air the ceremony at the Forum on March 5. John Sykes, president of entertainment enterprises for iHeartMedia, said in a statement,

“We are proud to have Bruno join Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, and U2 in the elite group of iHeartRadio Innovators. From the start of his career Bruno has been fearless in his approach to all things creative. This award was made for him.”

Tom Poleman, president of the national programming group for iHeartMedia, added,

Bruno Mars has raised the bar for both performers and musicians worldwide. Not only does he have incredible passion for his craft, but he has the talent to back it up. Bruno has reinvented music pop culture and we are honored to present him with one of the most prominent awards of the evening.

Speaking on the news, Mars stated,

I’m incredibly honored to be presented with this year’s iHeartRadio Innovator Award. I’m excited to take the stage for the first time at the annual iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Last year, the Innovator Award went to Justin Timberlake.
