The latest news in the Kesha and Dr Luke case is that she has been offered ‘freedom’ in exchange for retracting the lawsuit.
In a recent Instagram post, Kesha says ”I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped.”
”THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.”
It seems as though she isn’t backing down from the battle and is prepared to fight it all the way. She is even willing to let her career go down the drain until the ‘truth’ is uncovered.
But there is wide-spread skepticism on both sides. Many are on the fence and are finding it hard to believe what the ‘truth’ actually is. Throughout the case, Dr. Luke has flatly denied raping Kesha, or even having any sexual contact. The producer alleges that that Kesha manufactured lies to get out of her recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment.
For its part, Sony has offered a workaround, without offering a contract release. Manhattan Supreme Court judge Shirley Kornreich also denied a preliminary injunction put forward by Kesha that would have allowed her to escape the contract with the label, on the basis that she refused the offer of working with other producers.
The denial of the injunction sparked intensified efforts by Kesha and her lawyers. An appeal is reportedly underway.

Her music raped my ears.
If Kesha had any brains, she would finish her contract with Sony, it has already been established that she DOES NOT have to work with Dr Luke, in the sense that they would be in the same room together.
She can continue to sue him for alleged rape, mental abuse or whatever else she wants. From what I have read the alleged rape is her waking up naked in a room after being completely sht faced on who knows what, that she most likely administered to herself.
The girls persona certainly did not make her seem like a ‘goody two shoes’, like say Taylor Swift. I find it nearly impossible to believe that Dr Luke spiked her drink and raped her. Or forced her to do anything. Why would he? They were probably both fkd up and she woke up not remembering anything.
Also, for all we know Taylor Swift is on Luke’s side and she gave Kesha the money so there would be no excuses about Kesha not being able to afford the legal fees.
Wow this line of reasoning is so backwards. You don’t think that a girl who parties can get raped? You don’t think that a person of power would ever take advantage of someone who is incapacitated?
And what does Taylor Swift have to do with any of this?
